Howling Flea Market

Hey Music Maker.

So listen, as musicians, writers, and producers ourselves, we know all about the mysterious hard drive that sits full of old tracks that never found a home. Maybe they didn’t fit a brief exactly or a publisher decided to go another way on a project, so the tracks you worked hard on never found a home. Wouldn’t it be great if there was some way to offer those tracks to a publisher so they could see the light of day? Cue the Howling Music Flea Market.

We are currently seeking collections of tracks in similar styles; though we prefer multiple tracks submitted, we will also consider single tracks provided.  If you have various groupings of tracks organized by genre, we encourage you to send them to us in separate playlists for review. Our search encompasses a wide range of music, with a special emphasis on the retro spirit—a theme that could span any genre from the past 100 years! These need to be tracks that have never been released, published or registered with a P.R.O.

The flea market works very similarly to our library brief projects. First, if you do not hear from us within a month of submitting to the flea market, you can assume that we have not accepted the tracks and they will remain yours. Secondly, if we do like your tracks and wish to sign them, the terms will be just like a library brief acquisition. For more info on the terms of that arrangement, read the “Library Briefs” section of this FAQ.

Thanks for checking out the flea market, and rock on, Howlers.
